A cosmic cat emerges from dust in NASA’s new Hubble and Webb images
A cat-shaped structure is hiding inside the Carina Nebula, about 7,500 light-years from Earth. NASA's Hubble and James Webb space telescopes captured the Cat's Head Nebula in visible and infrared light, revealing different details of its dusty structure. Its glowing eye may be a young star, while radiation and stellar winds from nearby massive stars are gradually sculpting the surrounding pillar.
