SpaceX Falcon 9 launches GPS III-8 to orbit for US Space Force
A Falcon 9 rocket carrying the GPS III satellite lifted off Tuesday at 2:53 a.m. EDT (0653 GMT) from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
GPS III SV10, or “Space Vehicle 10,” marks the tenth and final satellite in the United States’ advanced GPS III constellation. The Falcon 9 first stage landed on the droneship Just Read the Instructions, marking the final planned Falcon mission for that vessel.
