NASA begins stacking Artemis III solid rocket booster segments

Piece by piece, NASA is assembling the Space Launch System for Artemis III. The first booster aft segments are now in place, on their mobile launcher, bringing the Moon mission one step closer to launch in 2027 and laying the groundwork for future missions to Mars.
